No Greater

the denying life

walking the path

may we never forget

our first step daily,

to go after him

the life of the dying 

flesh becoming our slave

more than conquerors

at the end of each day.

if you listen closely

to the breath of love

the time has come 

lay the cross down.

as was done 

for you my Friend

I could show my love no greater,

that cross is not only 

for taking up,

but to  Lay Your Life Upon it.
