Darkness survives in the hidden

chaotic silence it’s abode

Darkness lives in the secret

lying denial it’s control

Darkness resides in the deep

buried in a seedless shell 

Darkness produces rot

lifeless works of decay

The Word confesses 

and Darkness separates from Light

The Word speaks 

and Night loses dominion 

The Word says

and Darkness gets named

The Word declares

and the Night is subdued

We confess 

and the hidden is revealed

We speak

and the secret is known

We say

and the deep is shallowed

We declare

and rot gives way to life
